Our team will reach out in early August to schedule a tentative HardTop return date. When that day comes, we’ll bring your HardTop right back to your Jeep® Wrangler, remove your SoftTop, and swap in the HardTop.
Store
Not too much to say here, as this part is pretty self-explanatory, but let’s do it. Once we carefully remove the HardTop, and swap in your SoftTop, we’ll transport the HardTop to one of our local storage locations (indoor and secure) for the warm weather months. We’ll keep it there until you feel like it’s that time of year again.

High Altitude Mods was established by Kody and Taylor Smith, proud owners of Jeep® Wranglers. Residing in Denver, they faced two challenges each spring:
1) Switching from the HardTop to the SoftTop was a hassle.
2) There was no convenient place to store the HardTop once it was removed.
City living has its perks, but spacious storage is not one of them. After a few years of teaming up to take off their HardTops and storing them in a friend’s warehouse until winter, they grew tired of the inconvenience.
Realizing they weren't the only ones facing this problem, they decided to create a service for removing and storing HardTops, aiming to make the seasonal swap easier for everyone.

Do you come to my Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco?
Yes -we will come to where your Jeep or bronco is located for both removing and installing your hardTop.
How far do you travel?
We service most of the Denver Metro area along the Front Range.
South to Castle Rock
East to Elizabeth
West to Evergreen
North to Brighton
If you are not within this radius you can give us a call and we can accomidate. We are adding new areas all the time.
When do I book my HardTop removal?
To book your HardTop removal simply click on the book now button and purchase the service. A team member will reach out to schedule the service.
We reach out via email in early August to schedule a return date.
Note: you will need to contact us with any changes no less than 48 hours before your desired reservation.
How long will it take?
The initial removing of the HardTop will only take about 30 minutes. If you are having us install your SoftTop as well the total time will be 60-90 minutes. This same time frame is also for returning your HardTop as well.
Do I need to be on site?
No. You are not required to be on site for the removal or the install. We will need to have access to the Jeep or Bronco so having the vehicle unlocked is required.
how much does the service cost?
The cost to remove your HardTop is around $150. The install the HardTop come Fall, it's about the same price. Monthly storage for your HardTop is arounf $75 per month. Keep in mind to store freedom tops, the cost is a little bit more. Just let us know before hand if we are going to store your freedom tops.
where is my HardTop stored?
We have several storage partners sprinkled across our service area. So, depending on where you live, it will be stored in the nearest facility. All Tops are stored indoors in secure facilities.
Do you remove doors?
yes, we can remove your doors as well. We do charge an extra fee to remove your doors. Please let us know during your booking if we are also removing doors. We can store your doors, but you will have to provide protection for your doors and pay an additional storage fee.
how do i book my Hardtop return reservation?

My Jeep Has A Roof Rack, Can You Still Store My HardTop?
Yes, we can still remove, install and store your HardTop if you have a roof rack installed. *Keep in mind, roof racks that are mounted by mounts attached to roll bar, we can NOT store unless the roof rack is removed. Roof racks that are mounted via the rain gutters we can remove, install and store.
*Please note that HardTops with roof racks will cost more to remove and store. Please inform us when booking if your Jeep or Bronco has a roof rack.
